Donations are now being accepted for the CCBA scholarship program. All donations are greatly appreciated and will be applied to the 2011 CCBA scholarships. On the Agenda:
1) A certificate of appreciation for his services to the Bar will be made to Mr. Harold Davis.
2) Selection of CCBA Delegates/Alternate for the 107th House of Delegates Meeting of the OBA held in Tulsa on November 4, 2011. If you are interest please advise a member of the bar so that you can be nominated or appointed.
3) Mr. Todd Hicks who is a member of the scholarship committee will introduce and recognize the 4 individuals who received scholarships from the CCBA in 2011. These scholarships were given in honor of Mr. Louis Fischl, Mr. T. Fred Collins, Mr. James W. Williams and Mr. Harry L. Bickford.
4) CCBA's participation in the Legal Institute of Pickens County CLE in association with the OBA.
5) Treasure Report/Report of Members who have paid their dues for 2011 in the sum of $50.00
6) Carter County Bar Associations participation in Judge Miller's retirement party/gift
7) Notice of applicants applying for the Johnston and Marshall County Associate District Judge position.
8) Impeachment of our social chair, Jason May, & nominations for an immediate replacement and/or abolishment of this position
9) Election of new officers. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO BE ELECTED!!!
