Each year, in conjunction with Law Day, the Carter County Bar Association awards $1,000.00 Scholarships to seniors who best exemplify strong work ethic, community leadership, and a dedication to service.
Special thanks to the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce Foundation for helping in the management of the CCBA Scholarship!
2010 Scholarship winners were Makenze Herrin of Lone Grove School, Juliann Jantz of Dickson High School, and Patrick McSweeney of Ardmore High School.  
 
Ms. Herrin's scholarship is in memory of Carter County attorney and civic leader, James W. Williams. 
Ms. Jantz' scholarship is in memory of Carter County attorney and former President of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Earl Q. Gray. 
Mr. McSweeney's scholarship is in memory of Carter County attorney and civic leader, Ezra Dyer.
